Lynchburg’s main theater sold out all 14 screens showing Harry Potter at midnight, which I thought was pretty impressive. Then I found out that my sister, at the Mall of America in Minnesota, got in line for her show at 10 am.

Very sad story about two teens killed in a drunk driving accident during the 4th of July holiday weekend. Their deaths hit the small town of Altavista hard. Hundreds of people gathered in the town’s park for a vigil. The man in the center is a family friend that knew one of the teens since he was a baby.
