Lynchburg’s main theater sold out all 14 screens showing Harry Potter at midnight, which I thought was pretty impressive. Then I found out that my sister, at the Mall of America in Minnesota, got in line for her show at 10 am.

The Kurdland team members lift up goalie Jines Benitez after they won against Valencia in the Shenandoah Valley Premier Soccer League Division II final Saturday.
Vigil
Very sad story about two teens killed in a drunk driving accident during the 4th of July holiday weekend. Their deaths hit the small town of Altavista hard. Hundreds of people gathered in the town’s park for a vigil. The man in the center is a family friend that knew one of the teens since he was a baby.
A Great Opportunity

Students at the Jubilee Science Camp watch as their play-doh-and-bottle volcano erupts with on the last day of class. Fun assignment for a Friday but all that vinegar got pretty smelly.
